The Mildura Region Export Network will present a risk management and accessing the Halal market event on Tuesday 15 April for local businesses.

The seminar caters for exporters, those wishing to export and also businesses looking to tap into the local and visiting Halal market.

Vince Carli, Senior Manager Supply Chain Finance at NAB is coming to Mildura to deliver a risk management presentation and provide attendees with a greater understanding of some of the financial risks involved in exporting and methods of payment.

Accessing the Halal market in Australia and beyond will provide attendees with an understanding of what Halal is, the value of the Halal industry, certification issues and also how businesses can access the Australian Halal market.

Zulfikar Mohamad Shariff, CEO International Halal Management, Executive President Australia Halal Council and President The Malay Association of Victoria will share his expertise to assist businesses to understanding the Halal market and how they can penetrate the lucrative global Halal market.

This session will also be valuable to restaurateurs, the tourism industry, cosmetics, banking and property businesses.

The Mildura Region Export Network presents a series of export focused workshops to give local businesses the tools to make the most out of international market opportunities.
